Well its better then rap... so at least your getting in the right direction.
I dunno any punk bands, but HATEBREED is hardcore.. you might like them.

Hatebreed are ok....

But Full Blown Chaos are the bigger better and heavier Hatebreed. EXACTLY the same style of music, vocals, and songs really - but I prefer them massively.
