>it can have some effect on your brainwave and get you highI wouldn't call it a high, or anything related to any kind of intoxication. By this I mean that the method of action isn't similar to a high, not that the effects aren't. The effects are somewhat similar to a class of hallucinogens known as Deliriants,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DeliriantDrugs like DPH and Datura are very similar to the effects of long term sensory deprivation in many cases.
Listening to white noise over extended periods of time, especially in situations where you limit or completely deprive yourself of your other senses, can do some weird shit though.
If you find it interesting, I suggest watching :
Sensory Deprivation isn't anything new, and is pretty well documented in its effects, although they are poorly understood. When you cut everything else out, and leave only the conscious, strange things happen to the person. People report being unaware of their physical body, inner voices, entities, that sort of thing. As for just the frequencies in the video, they don't do anything special. The important part is the "Turn off your lights, close your eyes, lay down and listen to this on headphones" part that causes you to have these effects.
