Just wondering what the people of jsp consider to be the greatest hip-hop/rap album of all time. And when I say hip-hop/rap, I mean actual hip-hop (Big L, Tupac, Biggie, Members of Wu, old Dre, etc.)

I don't have a final decision yet, but so far it's looking to be Nas' Illmatic (released 1994).



For those of you who appreciated this album check out Elzhi's rendition "Elmatic."

Big L - The Big Picture (2000)
The Notorious B.I.G. - Ready to Die (1994)
Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) (1993)
Souls of Mischief - 93 'til Infinity (1993) - the title song alone made me consider this album

The list is ofc much longer than this, but this may give you some good ideas.

Atm, I kinda like with CunninLynguists - A Piece of Strange, but I wouldn't concider it as the best.
