SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many european countries produce reasonable rock/metal, but absolute shit on pretty much all other genres. I like that Euro metal bands are spawning from unlikely places like Egypt etc, but it's not at a high enough level.

And ofc - the fuckin norsk and fins producing the same power metal/black metal/death metal every month.

Finland have basically nothing except heavy metal bands, as an example.. (or at least the only decent music produced there)

French metal scene has really good stuff

& I'm gunna have to say that on average the most bad music comes from bands in the US. good bands here are rare as hell

America may produce shit but they also produce good stuff.

IMO UK is best area for music.

We have had most of the all time greatest rock bands of all time, and are the leaders in dubstep etc atm, not that big on metal scene though..
