if you think its even remotely close post it, up to try most things

Dillinger Escape Plan is along similar lines as Deftones

and scrap everything on that list besides Deftones and Tool

I like this list. i would also include: stone temple pilots, kmfdm, nine inch nails, rob zombie, the eagles, filter, pantera, and slayer.
