Here is a topic (one more) to post some music I want to share. It will go from Gothic Metal to nu jazz, going through post-rock, classical, dub, pop, whatever... It doesn't mean that I think I know everything in music. Far far far from this, I just know a little of a wide range of types. Therefore, if you think you have something that could interest me, feel free to pm me. I'll try to post one track every day with a little explanation sometimes.

To open this topic, here is a track from the new album of a guy that everybody knows (I guess), but not for his musical abilities. Since I never saw a complete episode of Dr House, I found this interesting for the music, and not for the man. The album "Let Them Talk" is mainly composed of some Lousiana Blues. For those who don't know this kind of music, it's a kind of blues who's similar to the Mississipy blues: very acoustic. But it's probably more complexe. There are lots of piano and acoustic/folk guitars, blues harp, bass. The music is often slow, but not especially sad... A track is better than long explanations:

Some Sludge Metal today, with Cult of Luna. A instrumental track from their debut album, very dark and intense I think. The title could clearly be a reference to a famous album of the 70's...

Some nice hip-hop, with nice flows, and an instrumental such that we can call that music. That's all I need to respect the work of artists. Here, they got a chorus that stay in your mind and some nice lyrics too. The other tracks of this album are also kinda nice and should interest those who liked this.

A Swedish post-rock band for today. On the footsteps of "Godspeed you! Black Emperor", with less strange/committed monologues/dialogues in the background... Maybe a bit easier for newcomers in post-rock.

A song I really like for its repetitive side, and its gloomy ambiance. Doctor Flake is a well known abstract hip-hop/trip-hop french dj. The song is about a therapy of a lonely man.

This song is from Four Tet, the project of Kieran Hebden which goes from jazz to hip-hop, via ambient and electronica through his albums. Quite relaxing...

Where manouche jazz meets blues... Django's still a reference for so any guitarists and jazzmen, and it will probably stay like this for a long time.

An incredible piece from the dj Amon Tobin, going through feelings like very few people can do it, and making them grow.
(I found this unofficial clip very appropriate to describe the music. Really nice job from these guys too)
