I work at Best Buy and I get a RIDICULOUS discount on those things.

Beats Pro - $400 (employee discount - $220)
Beats Studios - $300 (employee discount - $ like 140 I think)

I actually bought the Beats Pro's and I highly disliked them. They didn't sound good for a $400 headphone.
the studios are good headphones but they're not built very well.


My suggestion: get the Bose QC15. Best headphones I've listened to and they're $300. They are everything a headphone needs to be.
But also look into Sennheisers, Koss, AKG, and some other brands that I just went blank on.

beats by dre are overpriced, overhyped pieces of garbage

clear sound, not very good brace

Depend on the sound type you like, but they are too expensive.
There is much better brand out there with better sound, lower price and better quality made headphone.

Get a pair of Sennheisers.

Most of the cost is the dude's name, these are designed to be worn around the neck like a fashion accessory.

Consider the Grado SR-60, SR-80, and SR-125, Audio-Technica ATH-700, and whatever Sennheiser offers in your price range.

Be careful buying these - I had a perfect fake set of them come through my work. It fooled the shit outa me - only this video cleared it up for me.

i got pro i like em i had solos but those snapped after like 2 months. i believe studio are same build as solos so dont get. pros i like tho if u got the money for em.
