I have never heard of Protest the Hero until just now.
The instrumentation is great, I love how mathy it is.
Vocals were very sub-par for me, sorry. The voice doesn't go with the type of music. If anything, he needs to be singing an octave lower for me to even consider the vocals being at least par.

if you like this you should check out their other albums this one just came out they are really good their lyrics are amazing

I love protest, don't get me wrong.

But half the songs lyrics on Scurrilous are awful.


C'est la vie has amazing lyrics, it's probably my favorite track on the album.

Moonlight
Termites
Dunset
Reign of Unending Terror

are probably the other best.


But like always- they know how to play their instruments well.

@minstrone-For every much every protest the hero fan i've come into contact with (including myself) have always complained about the vocalist. He grows on you if you give him a chance. But if you like this, definitely check out their other two cds.

Most of their songs are up on youtube with only instruments.

i actually love rodies voice i seen them at warped tour in dallas they were amazing and i am going too see them tonight at the door should be awsome. but yes i love rodies voice and protest rules also check out the human abstracts new cd its good
