They stole an awful lot of material from Testament, as well as various other bands. I think they would be a lot better if they wrote their own stuff.

I grew out of that elitist metalhead mentality and now I don't mind some of their music.

most bands rip their sound from somewhere. I can only hear a few riffs that I can honestly say sound like Testament.

I'm a huge Testament fan - much more so than LoG, and there are very FEW similarities between the bands. Jazz drummer for LoG, Jazz guitarist for Testament - there's not much there thats similar. Plus, LoG play in that illusive drop D whereas Testament don't really drop at all, so it's a different playing style.

I can't agree with LoG ripped off Testament - The big 4 stole more from Testament tha anyone else.

I also just don't understand people who claim to love metal to dislike LoG - it doesn't make sense, and to call them sellouts/mainstream is fucking retarded.
