What's your set up and rarest Record?

I use a Crosley CR49

Rarest Record (waiting for it to come in) is X/O by Elliott Smith, it can be a bit pricey but I got lucky with that.

Kind of. I have a stack of about 60 - 80 records right now but they aren't really rare. Mainly classic rock and whatnot and all of them are considerably used.

I'm going have to steal that from her. I just want to apologize in advance.

Got about 200+ records, about 1/3 of them were "hand-me-downs" from my mother.
The ones from my mother include her Animals albums, Beatles, Manfred Mann, Elvis, Lou Reed, etc.
Most of mine are, well, prog. Got every Yes album from 1969-1980, most Jethro Tull albums, Gentle Giant, etc.

My player is an Audio-Technica AT-PL120, attached to my surround sound in my room (Onkyo 5.1).

My most precious album is my near mint Thick As A Brick by Jethro Tull.
Either that, or Meet The Beatles.

Signed by all of them? That's got to be worth an absolute shit ton.

I am jealous your mom likes Animals and of the fact you have it in general. What condition is it in?

My mom is not into any kind of rock, folk, jazz, etc. She only likes the poppy stuff like Rhianna.

The cover is in bad shape, and absolutely no scratches on the record. Actually, all of her records are in pristine shape, just because she took care of her shit.
On all the Beatles albums, my mother forged the signatures of Lennon, McCartney, Starr and Harrison.

Lol, Rihanna.

ye, collecting vinyls and just started modding a rega p3 turntable, denon dl-160 cart.
(atm got roughly 185 lp's, and what I got can be found here, still got to get it updated again though http://rateyourmusic.com/~JamHint )
currently using : rotel rc 1090 preamp connected to a rotel rb 1070 power amp, connected to B&W dm604's.
what i enjoy more about vinyl then anything else is that you can basically craft your own sound by modding a turntable, swapping carts, switching slip mats, using wieghts, clamps, and different surfaces and so on.
Soon will have a new audiorack to put everything in again, the floor will do till then.

Hm, that's actually pretty cool. I may try something like that. I just keep my powered phonograph away from my speakers to try and get a different sound out of it.
But that's not a bad idea
