A band I discovered through Doctor Flake's daily post (one song everiday, giving a clue about his influences)... Troublemakers... They're making something between downtempo, electronica and nu-jazz. Kinda awesome...

The text at the begining of the song is the following:

I'd translate like this (literally):

"- Nobody knows what's happening nowadays because nobody wants something happens. In fact, one never knows what's happening, one only knows what he wants to happen, and that's how things happens.
In 1917, Lenine and his mates weren't saying: "We gonna do the revolution because we want the revolution", but "All conditions for a revolution are present, revolution is ineluctable!". They did the revolution, which would have never happened if they didn't do it, and which they would have never done if they hadn't thought it was ineluctable just because they wanted it.
Everytime something moved this world, it went bad. That's why nobody moves, nobody dares provoke the future! One should be a fool to provoke the future! One should be a fool to risk to provoke again a new 19, a new 14 or a new 37.
- So nothing will ever happen again?
- Yes, something will happen again because there will always be fools, idiots to follow them, and wise men to do nothing..."

(My english is a bit crappy, I hope my translation is understandable ^^)

A jazz-hop song for today. The whole album Yuri's Choice is wonderful. I strongly recommend it for the guys who like hip-hop and think they're open minded.

A well known band... I guess they're not really popular for the generation that rises, but well, they created songs that made my adolescence.

I think I didn't post a track of the masterpiece Endtroducing yet... Now it's done.
Everyone who likes electronic music and/or abtract hip-hop should know this album. 15 years ago and it's still original and innovating.

These guys are known mostly for the song "Chan chan", but well... If you like world music, jazz, cuba... Check the movie of Wim Wenders about the Buena Vista Social Club.
Here is a classical song with a nice laúd solo from Barbarito Torrès...
