they are great live. but the thing that makes them great is the crowd. they like to play the older stuff for our area which imo is their heaviest. you gotta have a crowd willing to break their friend's nose in order to see the band experience at its best.
a good crowd always makes or breaks a show

The hard East Coast shit is sweet and all until you go to the West Coast for something. Sound and Fury changed my entire perspective on hardcore. The people out there are so much nicer. Even the FSU dudes are nice as shit. I can't stand my scene after experiencing the Cali scene.
that's because out here no one takes FSU seriously so they don't try the extreme tough guy hardcore act
in LA you go to a lot of show with surenos and crips from compton and shit so FSU members tend not to start anything because a beatdown sucks, getting shot or shanked in the parking lot is worse
SB is a much chiller scene though I wanted to go to Sound and Fury pretty bad this year the lineup was unmatched
