Hey hooked, you going to that free show tonight?

In Vain
Acora
Waverly Hills
No Remorse
Lift The Veil
Fingers Crossed
Cast Away
Caveman
Seven Years To Burn

In Vain is one of my favorite local bands, and a few of the others are pretty tight.

no offense since you're in a local band, but 90% of the locals here fucking suck and over dramatic a breakdown. most of the good locals in houston have stopped playing like Die Young, Clean Break, ect.

fallcore is the most "local" show i will go to. but its txhc from all over the state, not just Houston.

yea, i miss living in Philly for that reason only. but Texas is by far better to live in.

we have good hardcore bands, just not from Houston. the ones that are, all died out within the last 3 years. most of our local scene now is just deathcore/wanna be hardcore because they have a two step part in their song. none of them have true lyrics or positive statements. a couple of my buddies and i were going to start a real hardcore thrash band, but i doubt we honestly will. all of us work way to much, and the time we do have to chill we are just drinking beers and shooting shits.

The bands here in upstate NY have influenced alot of bands in NYC, or there are crews in NY that connect to crews up here. DMS has alot of people here in upstate. After the 10 for 10 a few months back, I found out that even the guys in Terror were influenced by a few bands from my town, some of which died, but a couple that are actually still around today.

Yeah, and we have our emo fag scene shit here too, but those kind of bands phase out quick in this area... the people are fuckin scary. Ive been to shows in jersey, nyc and even boston, and i gotta say the people here in upstate scare the fuck outta me more than anywhere. And I've noticed that those deathcore scenies are starting to notice that too, which is why they have been phasing out as much as they have ^^

yea.. respect is REALLY big here. People get pissed real quick if you say the wrong thing. But yeah, the people up here and in NYC are fucking nuts. Sometimes I dont even want to go in the pit with some of these people. I usually do and get hurt anyways... but gotta keep the smiles :D

I need to experience a NY show. Word on the street from my traveling buddies is that Clevo is harder than most places, though. I mean... we got SOSF, Crowd Deterrent, and the One Life Crew. Wuddup. hahaha

bring your little crew to Texas. if they have respect and integrity they are fine by me.

everyone is one person, no crews down here for txhc. now deathcore has a buncha that shit, they are all pussies.... Tilldeth can vouch for that.
