Also, I'd like to thank this thread for introducing me to hardcore. It's my new favorite genre. I think Every Time I Die might be some kind of hardcore, but this thread introduced me to Set Your Goals (now one of my favorite bands), A Day to Remember, Four Year Strong, A Loss for Words, Title Fight... etc. I need more!

Fuck Hot Topic merch. If you're going to get merch (from -core bands), use their online stores. The clothing designs are better and it's cheaper.
