Unless you live right on a beach or close to it, NY is essentially the same. Plenty of gang violence, high debt and taxes. Its a beautiful place.

NY city is ya idk about the rest of the state never been outside of the city

Cali has 1/7ths of the nations population and LA county is bigger than like 10 states people just weren't made to live with that many other people we always end up fighting

I don't live anywhere close to downtown LA but LA isn't like NY we don't just have bad parts there are bad parts all over Cypress Park is like an hour drive from downtown LA and they have one of the highest murder rates per capita in the country

I'll be in Beverly Hills and Santa Barbara when I come to Cali. I think I'll be alright.
