Here is a pleasant song from Big Muff, a cover of the famous jazz song "My funny valentine". I don't really know the band (maybe it's a shame), I just found this track on the first volume of the Hotel Costes compilations.

I just found out that Red Snapper made a new album this year: Key. I haven't check it yet, but since Pale Blue Dot was amazing, I'll check this tomorrow. Here is a live song from this new album:

(Seems legit :) )

e/: nice finish!

These guys are incredible and they have an eclectism I relly like. :)
e/: They were clearly a jazz band (perhaps even a free jazz band), with many other influences, and on their last album they bring some metal influences to their music. And still, they don't forget where they come from... This is a free band.

I just discover this today, but well... What the fuck???? This is pure awesomeness.
For information, Steve Reich uses a well known physical phenomenon: the phasing. Musicians are playing similar patterns at different tempo, giving a strange effect.

I strongly recommend to listen to the full piece (~10 videos), and immerge yourself in it.

Without any transition, a band I just discovered... Chthonian Alchemy, a gothic metal/doom metal band. They're album has nothing that really innovates, but I found something interesting in their sound.

On their first single, Mortal Lust, I'm clearly in love with the drum riff of the the pre-chorus... That female drummer...

Sometimes you just need to remember what is the base... <3
Best rock song ever in my opinion, and my favourite version.

A talented guy who makes his music alone using sampler, and loops of violin/synthetiser/guitar... Awesome.
