I agree man, his solo stuff is amazing

I hate Jazz though - thats the problem. I can't listen to his Trans Siberian Orchestra stuff because (to my knowledge) it's Jazz.

His metal stuff is fuckin awesome though. I really struggle with Testament solos ><

Get this album (Beethoven's Last Night), far from Jazz.

Rest of their shit is christmas stuff and hence why it is the only album I've got from em.

I'd have to say either...

Down @ House of Blues in Cleveland, OH
Tool @ Chevrolet Center, Youngstown, OH
System of a Down @ Chevrolet Center, Youngstown, OH
Buckethead @ Mr Smalls in Pittsburgh, PA

I dunno. Every one of them were great shows.
I was in the front for Down and got some great pics though. :D

Godspeed You! Black Emperor at the Showbox Sodo in Seattle.

2 hours of beauty and chaos.

A close runner up would be Les Claypool at Bogarts in Cincinatti while on an 8th of mushrooms.

Was only my second show in Seattle. Other was Darkest Hour, Cephalic Carnage, Whitechapel, and Emmure (boo) at El Corazon. Good times. I mainly went to big concerts when I lived in Ohio. Saw Napalm Death, Vital Remains, BDM, and many, many others. The best times of my life were either skating, or at shows.

I've been to a lot of shows, and most of them were awesome. That GY!BE show beats all of them 100 times over.
