its like they dont know that trance, house exist.

Are you saying that dubstep isn't as good as trance or house, thus, dubstep shouldn't be as popular as it is?

idk. i just see it as mini-trance/house

Dubstep doesn't really have any influence from trance or house.
Garage, a precursor to dubstep, had some influence from house but it isn't apparent in dubstep.

yep and lotta jungle influence present , such as the basslines and rhythm, hence the name dub-step .. if you know about reggae dub and what its about then the name should make sense

it deff is a genre of dance music and all dance music pays some homage to house and is the same in that you go to raves // warehouses lol. .but doesnt sound like many house tracks
