Are there like, "friend's lists" on this? Or is it like MAL where you just click someone to show compatability?

Does this mean I have to rate shit? I can't be bothered doing that lol >_<

Yes, you can add friends on this and have a friends list, and there's also a compatibility bar. And you don't have to rate anything.
