Already knew Alcest - souvenir d'un autre monde, neige is french just like me. Great album.
Amesoeurs is great too, Ludovico Einaudi is one of these feelingful piano composer everything
he does sound uplifting so it's automatically good.
Heretoir : Ending of Ein Schrey in die nacht is really beautiful, ausgeburt is brillantly beautiful too, the hidden track is good too.
Lantlos : overral good album ( who would've doubted anw with this line-up ), fav song : coma
Immanu El : Post-rock's always good, fav : comforting dawn, this band has potential, but the music could be more elaborated imo. I'd rather listen to explosion in the sky.
Good advices still. Liked a lot Heretoir.

Nice. I love how you like Heretoir a lot, they are my favourite band. Just finished collecting their discography, when I got their split with Thränenkind in the mail :D I have the .Existenz EP signed by Eklatanz. I believe I am the only one who has that.

Try Araxas - Umarmung des Nebels. An Austrian one-man depressive/symphonic black metal band, with his totally own sound. Leonhard Waltersdorfer started making classical afterwards, I would also recommend that, just search his name on Youtube. Plays a lot of vibraphone ^^

Try Der Weg Einer Freiheit too, with either their selftitled album or Unstille.

Last, but not least, anything from Nils Frahm.

Araxas is lovely, his voice is unbelievably alive. Overral great album, loved first track & untitled, good outro as well.

Makes me think of : Aaskeirea - Mit raben und wolfen or Silence - Pierce me

it's 2 very great albums that you should instant get if you don't know these yet.

I have those albums, and they are great. I am ordering Araxas' discography soon, since the albums only cost 5 euro per piece.

On a side note, can you believe that the sole guy behind Araxas was only 15/16 years old when he recorded all the instruments and vocals? :o

I don't know if I already showed you it, but I recently uploaded this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3A8SIM4kN-U masterpiece. Depressive Black Metal.

Then Winds of Sorrow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouWAF2erLI0 Atmospheric Depressive Black metal (strangely uplifting, though).

Aeternum Sacris: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FADOVAmAjz8 Symphonic doom metal.

Blood of Kingu : it went very fast & easy, really enjoying the drums on certain tracks and the rare oriental influences, great album overral,
fav : Your blood, Nubia, your power/Stronghold of megaliths, Thorn/Black spectral wings of shaman, I absolutely loved the drums on chambers of inpu, it fits so well the atmosphere.

The Angelic Process: not much to say except that once I heard the first track I knew I was in love with that band

Coven : was fun the 8 first songs then I could only think of how hot is jinx.
