One of the last golden genious from the blues... He left us way to young. Probably one of my biggest regrets...
And one of the few stratocaster-player I really like.

I used to listen to this album of the Deftones wile I was reading Dracula, from Bram Stoker. I still found the combination very nice. The gloomy, macabre and cold ambiance that were coming from the book and it's rythm which was kinda slow fit well to the songs like Minerva, Deathblow, Aniversary of an uninteresting event, and even the violence of some scenes of Dracula fits well to some others like When Girls Telephone Boys...

Well, cool story bro. ^^

I just realise I haven' post any vid from Paradise Lost, one of my favourite band in metal. Here is one from the Icon album, which raise them to their actual status.

A nice band of progressive rock/psyche rock, like none these days... Oh wait... There are not from the '70 but from the '00! :o

The mix between Jazz and hip-hop is kinda unknown by lots of people, but well... It's just the combining of a potentially funky music and and a funky way to sing.
Guru already prove it on its Jazzmatazz Vol. 1 in '93 (he was not the first but he did it with brightly).
