yes and no by the second and third albums they starting to play more complex music and using more tempo changes so it wasn't the same stereotypical thrash as before but it set the trend for all thrash afterwords

also the first 3 albums drew immensely from Dave Mustaine hell he wrote half of the lyrics for kill em all and all of the lead guitar shit so that's where most of the real thrash came from

luckily for Metallica they got rid of Dave but got Cliff to solidify themselves as a metal band but after cliff they really have been just a pop band under a metal banner

basically they were the deathcore of the 80s and now they are the U2 of anyone born in the 85-95 years

dunno, if 100 demons is playing there not listed on the lineup, but shattered and sworn are playing saturday thats the only day im going, its 99 bucks for all 3 days this is the full lineup

Off topic but I know there are a lot of east coast homies here. What are some good universities out that way? I'm looking for diversity and good academics and stuff to do, a good scene, stuff on and off campus, a bigger campus.
