Any RPG's?

I mean, I understand not liking JRPG's, though. They usually severely lack any real strategy in their battle systems, and have little to no variety.

Edit: Get hit, heal party, get hit, heal party, repeat, etc. It gets old. I guess that's why I haven't played any in a while...

I don't want to seem like I'm being too critical of this game. There's some really cool shit about it. My jaw dropped watching some of the cut scenes. And even some areas are absolutely stunning just walking through them.
It's definitely worth a play, and I'm not even finished it yet.

The battle system is really what gets me, though. I don't want to just rely on a fucking computer to heal me. I love being able to determine what step is next. I loved having complete control over who does what attack, who buffs the characters, etc.

But this isn't bad... it's just different. And I prefer it the other way. lol.

Definitely play it, though. See for yourself.

Yeah, dude. I understand. I guess I'll try it if I ever get the chance, but I doubt I'll be owning a PS3 and a copy of the game anytime soon. I watched the trailer, of course, and it looked great. I find myself playing these games for the stories moreso than anything else, though... which is why I'm not usually critical of the FF series's gameplay.
