now there's a band I haven't listened to in a good long while

and I'm seeing the big 4 on the 23rd gonna be full of old guy rockers and newfags for Metallica but I can't wait to finally see Slayer

Nothing compares to the first 4 albums of metallica. You can make a very solid argument on their newer stuff sucking. But their old stuff is untouchable.

I like megadeth and anthrax, but i would much rather see a full metal show with a lineup like; Metallica, Slayer, Exodus, Testament, Iron Maiden, etc.

I would cut metallica off at 3 metallica minus cliff burton is as shitty as cryptopsy without lord worm

and as far as that lineup I would go with megadeth, slayer, kreator, exodus, and testament personally I've seen metallica before they are decent live but 90% of what they play is the shitty new stuff plus hard to take them seriously at all even when they do play good shit
