It's not everyday you stumble upon a band with such great musicians that it doesn't matter how much the vocalist squeals.. it's still amazing..

I'm nearly positive you wont find a deathcore band ( based on vocals ) that's as technically attractive as LoG.

I also don't follow metal b/c of the singers.. lmao I hardly care for 'em, fiking pig squealing over such great technical fret work is such a shame.

Deathcore
Metalcore
Deathmetal
???????????????????????????????????????????????????LMAO?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Lamb of God is PURE METAL.. based on everything BUT their vocals. Fuk their vocalist, the band started with only instrumentals ..

I'm a ginger? Lmao.. Irish/ Italian.. further helps me understand your clouded judgment.

Bands I listen to that is "One Genera"? none re read what I posted.

Man.. your just full of failure
im not even gonna keep talking to your nonsince, it just isent even worth it.
But in your defence.. i used to think the same thing when i first started listening to metal, i used to think that some bands where just metal
like slipknot and shit.. i thought they where just metal, when really the genre they fit into is nu-metal
all bands have a genre, theres no "just metal" bands..
Maybe after you listen to metal for a few years you'll understand everything... probably not tho, you being ginger and all.

Lamb of God is considered New Wave American Heavy Metal, I'd give it deathcore based on its break downs/ fast rifs with off timing drum/ bass with a lot of pure metal meshed in.. Plus when considering their vocals.. i NATURALLY think death.

None of those are considered one genre... some of them are the same genre, but they all have a genre.
chimaira and mastodon arint nu-metal...

disturbed
slipknot
korn are all nu-metal, eayest way to tell nu-metal is if there kinda rapy/have a DJ/turn tables.. i dont think disturbed has a DJ, but there defently nu-metal.. im not sure why, i dont listen to them

im not even gonna go though the whole list.. but you listen to thrash/heavy metal/speed metal/progressive metal/metalcore
seplutera - groove/death metal
Meshuggas just a mess, i dunno how anyone can listen to them.. but thats the same as gorja, i cant stand them either..

Everything has a genre... you should read up more on your favorite bands, you have the internet witch makes it easy now.
when i started listening to metal it was a hell of alot harder to get information on shit

CHimaira has both Scream rap and a sample guy who can't DJ ( very digital though )in the early 2000's, they have grown and changed into such a different sound I love even more. I feel as if they are a nu-metal style but a sound like Metallica. I don't know, I have everyone telling me something different. lmao!

Mastodon is this epic "Groove core"? with so much funky/ psychedelic sound.. i thought that would be enough to consider them a nu-ish metal..
Can't find a band like them.. They have a few weird tracks that emulate a robotic/ digital style of instrumentals.

Firstly, to label Slayer as just thrash... lol sure maybe 10 years ago.

if you listen to Lamb of God and not those other bands i listed.. you're retarded.
all these bands have heavy fast riffs and destructive drum beats.. Their speed metal sound is inspired by metal gods from around SLayer's era.
I have a feeling you guys are more concerned about the gay screamo "deathcore" vocals.

you guys would be idiots for trying to find a band that emulates Lamb of God's sound... it's impossible..

you think you know metal.. yet you claim Chimaira is the closest thing their sound... you are sooooooo far from wrong.
Chimaira is more like metallica and they are BETTER than LoG

lmao!

Dude - be real.

Firstly, what the HELL are you talking about? Slayer = Thrash. Slayer = NEVER changed their sound, style or speed - Slayer = Thrash through and through, there is absolutely no debate on the subject at all - you clearly are trolling, or have not listened to anything off the last 2 albums (which are TOTAL THRASH ALBUMS FROM 0.01secs TO 36mins when the album finishes.

Secondly, Chimaira = more like Metallica? Where did you get this rediculous statement from?

Nothing Remains......
Power Trip.....

Please - tell me how these 2 songs as 2 examples bare any relevance to Metallica?

Chimaira = Nu death metal, could even be considered metal-core in the same category as LoG - but don't bring Metallica into it coz thats just a fail lol.

Once again - I repeat - SLAYER HAVE NEVER CHANGED FROM THRASH - EVER.

A lot of good stuff mentioned here. I really like LoG.

This is generally what I listen to

Gojira, Meshuggah, Dimmu Borgir, Strapping Young Lads, Fear Factory, Born of Osiris, Sevendust, As I lay Dying, All Shall Perish, Arkaea

You should def check any of these out if you have never heard of them. Specifically Arkaea, an epic metal supergroup! All Shall Perish are beastly too.
