nah they aren't underground. underground hiphop is basically the indie of rap. most artists/groups on underground work with well known artists but at the sametime are most likely not signed to major labels.
and just because those groups are not said on mtv or much music doesn't mean they're underground :\

<_< How do they come across as R&B? Yeah they sing, but it's not even in the same style as R&B. It's not that whiney, in the club with bullshit that R. Kelly and shit is on.

And I hate to break it to you, but Wu-Tang is NOT a family. Not anymore anyway. Most of them hate each other. Rae and Ghost will not shut the fuck up about RZA, U-God actually tried
to sue him, and RZA is havin' U-God tailed. On the other hand, Bone is literally a family; Flesh and Layzie are brothers and Wish is their cousin. They all grew up on the same street, and
they literally helped keep each other alive when they were living homeless on the streets of Cleveland and then L.A. before they met Eazy.

And Bone can DEFFINATLEY fuck with Wu-Tang Lyrics. Mabey you're just not listening fast enough. ;)
Check this crazy verse from Layzie. His rhyme scheme and the structure of this verse is insane.

the fucking bone thugs put out a hit on the radio from their most recent album about still hustling on the corner?
yea theyre still hustlin on the corner, still on their grind...
NOT

however east 1999 is a GREAT cd

How about you go live on the street, robbing and killing and selling crack to eat, and use trashcan fires for warmth in the Cleveland winter, then see how many LP's you put out before you forget about that shit.

EDIT: Besides, nobody made you listen. That album went gold so obviously some people are still interested in what they have to say.
