Not usually a fan, but someone introduced me to a 'folk metal' band called Ensiferum that I really enjoyed, it was really instrumentally cool, lots of different stuff. I don't even know if its the right band, but it was cool. Any more 'folk metal' stuff like that?

Great swedish black metal.. Released their debut album called Monuments 1 or 2 years ago.
