Loving the Vibrasphere posts :) I've been gone for a few days, got addicted to this flash game on Kongregate (don't ask how, I have NO idea, it's really sad actually...). Anyway, Ridetheinferno, I wanted to ask you, how did the Infected Mushroom show go? I didn't end up going because a friend said he heard it was sold out so we called Sonar like fucking 15 times or something and they wouldn't pick up and after hearing a bit of the new IM CD, which I was very disappointed with, we decided it wasn't worth the drive only to find out it was sold out. You'd think they'd pick up the phone... it'd grab them some sales, guess maybe they really were sold out. Anyway, I'd love to hear how it went, I heard from somebody that it was the full band which gave it a kind of metal/trance atmosphere as opposed to their DJ sets which is supposedly more full-on. Anyway, I don't know 'cause I wasn't there but if you see this post, lemme hear how it went! I got a few tracks to post since it's been like fucking ages since I've posted. Comin' riiiiight up!

That Vibrasphere track "Breathing Place" IS awesome, don't have that one, I gotta find Lungs of Life. The whole CD sounds fucking amazing.

Anyway, here's some Aes Dana (the talking and bird samples aren't part of the real song, also there's some music left over from the clip in after the dude lands but this video was so damn awesome I couldn't resist):

Wow I really like Derango's stuff as well. I'll have to grab some up, any particular goodies besides the ones you posted that you can recommend? Also, that Filteria CD is unreleased so is there any way to get it with album art and such? I see the album art in that video is really fucking cool. It's like water-color fractal faces or something.

Here's some celtic trance. One of my favorites of all time:

Another track from Lungs of Life, this one is simply beautiful. I like this version a lot more than the one on Exploring the Tributaries.

Finally found a non-FLAC version of Lungs of Life that I can play easily in iTunes. The whole CD is awesome, definitely a bit different than their older stuff but still awesome, they have a nice bright new sound with all kinds of groovy house-ish beats. I'm down with it, still hard to compare to Exploring the Tributaries in my opinion but this CD still has a lot of time to sink in. I think the original Ensueno is probably my favorite Vibrasphere track in all honesty but the remix most definitely does it justice. It kinda reminds me of Ensueno and Wasteland mixed together and Wasteland is one of my other favorites. I also like how it's the morning mix. I was reading an interview with them before they played at Eclipse festival in 2008 I think when they were compiling the new set for Exploring the Tributaries and they said that they were going to play trance in the morning and downbeat at night which I thought was pretty interesting because I had always thought of it the other way around. Thinking about it from that perspective it's a lot more in tune with nature and the rising and setting of the sun. Kind of random, I know, but I thought it was pretty interesting.

I also found that Filteria CD with a bigger higher res version of the album art. :) It's awesome art, not watercolor like I was thinking in the low res image but it's like undersea coral and tentacle like things enveloping everything, pretty fucking sick if you ask me.

I saw the thread of the title and decided I would be angry if there was no Infected Mushroom. The first god damn song was.

Haha, Infected Mushroom fucking rocks. :) I've barely heard anything off the new CD but I'm not too swayed with what I've heard, though it's quite interesting to hear the metal/psy mix, I have been wondering a lot about the potential of that lately. This song has it's moment, the vocals remind me a lot of IM The Supervisor.

I'll keep this Vibrasphere ball rolling for a post or 2, I'm loving it. :D
