These guys are the masters of this particular genre. Only Sacramentum comes close to their awesomeness. That's my personal favorite track from their album, Storm of the Light's Bane.

dissection is best

Dissection is really solid but once you listen to them they get dull. They used to be my favourite band but once I branched out into more black metal I discovered a lot more diverse and thorough black metal. They're still really good and Storm of the Light's Bane is one of my favourite albums.

Thats exactly my point of view too.

I listen to a ton of different stuff now too. I don't listen to the more popular stuff like Dissection and Emperor anymore, but they're still a few of my top favorites.

The next show i'll be going to will be a two days fest : Inquisition + Monarque + Absu + Forteresse + Glorior Belli and more.
