I have gotten multiple pm's asking for more trapstep. Sorry if you don't like it, I presonally am a fan of trap rap so... Mixed with my fav electronic genre is nice also. What I posted is better than a lot of newer dubstep coming out since the genre is going away from it's roots.
definitely not happening. if anything a lot of the brostep is dieing off because its became as watered down as possible. how many times can you recycle the same sounds? i saw downlink last week and every song sounded like it was produced by the same produce or they all share stems or some shit. not to say other tunes of different styles dont often follow certain sounds or formulas, but theres a point where its like completely lacking originality. it was terrible. i saw downlink a year ago, and it was actually pretty decent even though im not a huge fan of the more midrangey stuff, i can say then i had a real good time. the roots and underground dubstep will remain when all the pop teen wave stuff dies out.
http://soundcloud.com/compauk/compa-back-to-back-joe-nice << this is a mix from a live show in brooklyn two weeks ago. a lot of classics and a lot of unreleased tunes in there, that would be hard to differentiate whether they were produced today or five years ago if you dont know em.
leave the mids for the kids
