Listening to that Deerhunter album now, about 8 songs in and really enjoying it, thanks for posting that.

Nice, some catchy stuff.

I didnt' like that one, i prefer their slower ambient stuff like Valtari or Von

Anyone of you heard Waxahatchee? it's probably my fav of the year

Was pleasant

Stara Rzeka - Cień chmury nad ukrytym polem

This is some fine stuff. Shady forest drone folk, first song has really intense bm part.

Torture Chain - Mutilating astral entities

Kinda chaotic/raw/intense melo bm

Sarah Neufeld - Hero Brother

Violinist of arcade fire, i like it.

I tried finding a torrent for that one but so far no luck. I'll get it eventually.

You can use a youtube converter and convert the whole album into a 40mb song :D

Considering Bob Dylan is my favorite artist of all-time I went out and bought this CD. First, this is a must-have for Dylan fans because the quality of the songs is great, the CD is massive, all total there are 35 songs on two disks and it is material you've never actually heard. The songs come from the New Morning-era and there are demos, live versions, etc., including many songs that have a very bare-bones feel to them, just Dylan and a guitar which is great. The first 7 songs or so are exactly like that and the others include more instrumentation, which was also nice.

Like I said, there's a ton of material so I'll definitely be giving this another listen, probably when I'm on a hike or something and can pay more attention than I did on the first go-round but I was very happy with this one.

For the time being I'm giving it a 3.5 // 5.0 for two reasons:

I. It isn't a record in the same way that Blood on the Tracks is a record, in that this release was not conceived in the same way. In many ways it is similar to a compilation disk, even though it is technically "new" material.

II. Some of the songs weren't too great. Overall I'd say the quality of music is good but perhaps it could be more consistent but hey, it is a collection of demos, outtakes, live shit, etc.

Finally listened to it! Sorry it took so long for me to get around to it.

For starters: they really, really sound like Led Zeppelin, particularly reminiscent of the first two albums (Led Zeppelin I in particular). Um, they didn't seem to do anything new or particularly interesting/innovative but it was a very entertaining album and I get the feeling these guys would be awesome to see live. I always like the sound blues music has in person and although this is "heavier" than I like my blues music, for the most part, I dug it. The singer really reminded me of Geddy Lee // Robert Plant haha.

I also listened to the new Wavves album today, which I enjoyed much more than their self-titled which came out a while ago. Again, here's another album that didn't do anything too crazy, just some fun stuff.
