I have yet to listen to a death album that make me like the genre really.(/QUOTE)

have you tried melodic death metal like in flames / soilwork / scar symmetry / dark tranquility / fear factory (somewhat industrial, too) / amon amarth / insomnium / some hyposcrisy / etc?

Alcest - Souvenirs D'un Autre Monde. Breathtaking, but does not serve as background music at all.

Immanu El - Passage. The best album to listen to, when you are wondering about all the things going in the world, and needs closure on that topic.

Heretoir - .Existenz. For when the whole world and who lives in it are getting too much for you to take. For when you are drinking alcohol, only to escape from the reality that you sadly created. For when you want hope, in the situations stated.

LantlĂ´s - .Neon. If you live/are in the city, and you feel sick of the urban environment.

Amesoeurs - Serves any mood I can think of, though now extreme happiness or sadness. Best when you are just drinking a cup of coffee, not caring about anything at all.

Ludovico Einaudi - Divenire. For homework, or when in big thinking.

Yellowcard - Southern Air. This band might have a reputation as being a pop-punk band, but they are so much more. This album is incredible.

Well, tell me what you think, when you are done listening :)

Bowery Electric : Was ok, 2 first songs were cool and I liked a lot Slow thrills
Locrian : Perfect album, not a single bad songs imo.
Black Marble : Didn't like at all, reminded me of Ice ages sometimes, but I actually like Ice ages.
Jordaan Mason and the Horse Museum : At first I didn't like but o jarhead o wife! made me change my opinion on it, made me vaguely think of Bright eyes
Ufomammut : It took some songs before I appreciate it, smoke was nice and more songs should be like this one, also liked nowhere, superjunkhead and the long final track ( especially the beginning )
Magic Hours : I liked sally free and easy but overral not my cup of tea I guess
Coil : reminds me of einsturzende neubauten at first, not a big fan of this album tho, and I love EN.

fav : sin city, Texas blood money, from dusk till dawn,

That prove again that you shouldn't judge a book by his cover, if I had seen these guys only in pic only 1 thought would've come into my mind : BITCHSLAP

Jungle Rot - Kill On Command

P.s Rings of saturn is Deathcore.

Well, I'm sure it's a nice album and a great band, but I just don't feel anything when listening to it.
I like a little devourment and used to listen to endless cemetary by cryptosy but that is all. I have dozens albums of death metal that I've listened and I never could really appreciate the genre as much as it deserves.

Already knew Alcest - souvenir d'un autre monde, neige is french just like me. Great album.
Amesoeurs is great too, Ludovico Einaudi is one of these feelingful piano composer everything
he does sound uplifting so it's automatically good.
Heretoir : Ending of Ein Schrey in die nacht is really beautiful, ausgeburt is brillantly beautiful too, the hidden track is good too.
Lantlos : overral good album ( who would've doubted anw with this line-up ), fav song : coma
Immanu El : Post-rock's always good, fav : comforting dawn, this band has potential, but the music could be more elaborated imo. I'd rather listen to explosion in the sky.
Good advices still. Liked a lot Heretoir.
