what i think about americans ruining dubstep ? like minz said , things were getting ruined before it came here .. americans just embraced that part of it mostly and are really good at being ignorant and misrepresenting things lol

lol, why? because you think that rusko, fluxp, dr p, and that lot are more legit than skrillex?
people treated rusko and borgore in 2009 just like they treat skrillex now. americans didn't ruin dubstep, it had a lot of bad elements in the beginning. there's always been a better group of artists, but my dude, they come from everywhere. it's not as though england is the only country in the world that is making quality dubstep. djg, widdler, roommate, mundo, noah d, etc are all dubstep acts from america. they're even less bro-y than the beloved Skream or Coki. Horrid Henry? Robotnik? Spongebob? OG BROSTEP R U FKN KIDDING ME?
people have this idea of dubstep, but it's ALWAYS had heavy/aggressive elements. not quite to where skrillex has taken it, but to me, Spongebob is just as irritating and terrible as any skrillex tune that ive heard. not to mention the old skream or rusko+caspa mixes. don't blame america for thinking skrillex is dubstep when 90% of the popular dubstep songs since 2007 or 2008 have been aggressive, wobbly, and irritating. you've got to be kidding me stating that my argument is dumb - you clearly know nothing.
Don't get me wrong, I've been involved in the dubstep scene for a long time. I did a dubstep weekly for 4 years straight. I liked the experimentation and the new sounds that were coming out. Hyperdub, techtonic, and a number of labels were doing really cool stuff within the genre, but let's be honest - dubstep has become polarized with nothing in the middle. there's deep stuff that is played out and boring, then there's aggro stuff that is played out and irritating. all of the experimentation has moved on, as i stated before, to new tempos and new styles.
call me a hipster, tell me my argument is invalid...but ive got plenty references to back my statements up. the only thing anyone has to say in rebuttal is "hipster" or "stupid argument." but i guess that is common when people can't think of a valid reply.
forgot matty g !!
ya coki is largely responsible for the tear out no doubt lol .. funny when people used to hate rusko hardcore and then borgore .
but .. no doubt a lot of experimentation has left.. no doubt things became sub generalized to an extent.. certain sounds have been played out and you have to dig through WAY more bullshit on both sides of the spectrum, deep/chill or aggressive. but that doesnt mean the entire genre is down the shitter.. i feel like that's a cycle most genres that gain popularity go through though, it just happened to dubstep waaay faster
saying all deep stuff is boring and all aggro stuff is irritating can certainly be said, but dont you think it writes off everything in the middle that is still good? tunnidge tweeted this "Can everyone stop trying to sound like Kryptic Minds please. There is more to dubstep than the extremes of brostep and dungeon" so hes on the same page as you in a way. i guess you can cause its all a matter of opinion, but i find it hard to believe you think the entire 140bpm range has gone THAT stale.. theres still some good labels and people doing awesome things in my opinion. sure a lot of OG people left, but a lot of them stayed .
personally im still finding stuff i like within the genre for now, i still enjoy certain vibes and sounds that are there but i know exactly what you mean. its not a huge deal cause i like many types of music anyway at the end of the day.. and like you said people are making other new stuff .. theres always gonna be something new
