i think of LoG as deathmetal... metallum (website) says its metalcore, i dunno about that one.

Chimaira is the only one in the least bit of the ball park as to lamb of god... and even still there not as good as em.

all these bands have heavy fast riffs and destructive drum beats.. Their speed metal sound is inspired by metal gods from around SLayer's era.

Strange... Because i've read on Metallum, that one of their policies is, that they take no bands in xxcore genres. But, why shouldn't they?

you said it yourself.. it's metal.. you are too worried about it's classification rather than the importance of individual sound that is intended for each track. The bands I mostly listen to are too diverse to be considered one genera..
