okay, then i guess you've never complained about justin bieber or hannah montana or any of that shit? its music that requires no actual musical talent apart from actually playing the instruments, its the same as justin bieber whos music doesnt require him to be musically talented apart from his voice, or any of that shit. most metal used to require some sort of musical talent, and was a genre that was relatively solid on quality music for people who were used to it. nowadays finding a good new metal band is so rare because metal has been represented by these trash bands who have completely taken the artistic aspect of the genre out and made popular for these angst-ridden sub-urban teenagers who only listen to it for it's 'brutality' (which may be a cause of some lack of power in their own lives)

Actually no, I have. I listen to black metal as well. I know that Venom is the band that started the black metal movement in Europe. Carpathian Forest did an amazing cover of their song In League With Satan.
Death is a really good band. I enjoy their album The Sound of Perseverance out of all their other ones. My best friend is really into them, and showed me them two years ago.
Just because I listen to bands like Parkway Drive doesn't mean I don't listen to other types of metal, and know about them.

I saw Parkway live in Texas about a year or two ago, they put on a great performance in a terrible venue.
