I like old hardcore

new hardcore all falls into 3 categories

1. posers - by far the largest category
2. unoriginal - second largest
3. original - this is about 1% of the bands out there and they I can tolerate

mongoloids are oldschool and are on that list

posers are an obnoxious part of hardcore, but the people in this thread listen to real hardcore, not that cock up the ass scene shit like the devil wears prada.

as for the bold, almost all music genres rip their sound from one or a combination of bands that have heavily influenced them. Even the old hardcore bands like cro mags and agnostic front have ripped their sound from older punk bands. There is very little completely original music out there.
