Tumbling Dice by The Rolling Stones

Always thought that Exile on Main St. was overrated by the Stones, only really gave it a whole listen to once or twice and felt underwhelmed outside a few songs, but listening to it again I appreciate it a lot more. Some damned solid rockers on this one, a bit of variety. Still don't hold it up to some of their others -- Sticky Fingers and Beggar's Banquet, mainly -- but God damn what an album, especially considering the number of songs on this one. Might buy the CD and keep it in the car for a bit, damned good driving music.

Anyone ever get into a genre real heavy and then just come back to classic rock stuff you've heard a million times after a long while and find new appreciation for it? That's been me with AC/DC and the Stones lately after listening to basically nothing but random shit and shoegaze for a month or two lol.

I know what you mean, although I don't care for the Stones and the singer always kept me from liking AC/DC
