Excellent posts Axed, lots of artists I've never heard of till just now. Darkpsy is some interesting stuff. It's a lot more cluttered and abstract than regular psy, an acquired taste I'm sure. Still, I really liked it. Do you have any DL links for albums you could hook me up with? Im gonna make a few rounds on google blogs and look, not even going to bother with torrents. They've been pissing me off lately.

Yeah it is, most of my mates who are into the psytrance scene don't particularly like darkpsy, at all. There are really two waves to it; dark psytrance from the old 90s melodic goa trance (sandman, dark soho etc) and post 2000 artists like Kindzadza and The Nommos.
