true, i do like the fact that people are starting to work with jam bands cause thats what i first got into with music

Pretty lights does have some dub heavy songs so i seems like he floats between the 2 of dubstep and electronic

what i dont understand is how all the dubstep producers/artists that play with jam bands are usually total rage out dubstep djs.. its all super hype mid range sounding stuff in general, big ones like bassnectar excision skrillex and company being big ones that have been playing larger festivals that are mainly jam festivals , when the original other side of dubstep is way more chill and atmospheric . i feel like the chiller , moer DUB / dark /deep/ vibes dubstep fits in way better with jam bands than the hype stuff.. i mean you vibe off the chiller darker stuff you rage to the electroish stuff . you vibe off jam bands you dont rage lol . but i mean its america so

i hear ya on this one the 2 just dont seem like they would go together, but at the same time at those type of festivals they are the only artists that the people can rage to when there. It kinda evens the crowds out cause every festival i go to like that i love going from a few chilll bands to just raging my face off for one night then back to the chill stuff cause one night is enough for me depending on who's playing. In reality the chiller calmer stuff would go much better with the atmosphere that they are trying to get at that festival though
