auron was a saving grace of 10...kept it interesting, i suppose


but my favorite ff character of all time is probably sabin. his rivalry with ultros just made that game 100000x more special for me.

also, fighting moving trains with a ninja and a samurai is cool, too

Yeah. It depends on your preference I guess.
VIII was REALLY time consuming.
And when you level up, so do the enemies.
So you can't get an edge over them. Which I like, but most don't.

Fuck that, I hated FFX-2 because that shit was annoying, fucking evil aeons. It's bullshit.
Aeons loved Yuna, you don't hurt what you love. Unless she doesn't have dinner on the table, then all bets are off.

meh, even if you don't power level, if you know what to do any ff game can usually be beaten easily.


for example, theres a point in ff7 where you fight a really hard version of jenova...but if you give everyone fire absorb stuff the fight finishes itself since she only uses fire based attacks....

Yeah, it's pretty nice getting above your enemies just by being good.

Though if you get Lionheart, it's pretty much overkill anytime Squall gets to use it.

Yeah. Exactly. You know people can beat FF10 without using the Sphere Grid? I thought that was crazy, but it sounds legitimate. A lot of the fiends barely even hurt your guys for the longest time...

ff8 is silly because you can acquire nearly the best shit in the game before the game even starts


if you play the card game intelligently and level up a few gf abilities, you can snag 100 tornados + 40% str and junction that shit on squall and you will hit for 2500 at level 9
