Tudor Lodge - S/T, Progressive Folk Rock, very smooth.

T2 - It'll all work out... Progressive Rock classic, a must hear

Dark - Round the Edges, Heavy Psych, the vocals take some getting used to but some beautiful playing here

Roscoe Mitchell - Sound, Free-jazz, the album that made me realise the potential jazz have as artmusic, it's a very hard but rewarding listen

Steve Reich - Music for 18 musicians, contemporary classical, minimalism

Current 93 - Thunder Perfect Mind, Neofolk, batshit insane lyrics, you get the feeling he spent 2 month's in a cabin dropping acid and writing songs about his visions.

If you listen to any let me know what you think

Tudor Lodge was really nice, enjoyed every songs I think especially these two : Madelin & Help Me Find Myself

T2 was all around really nice too, great album of prog rock I really enjoyed No More White Horses and the part after the middle of the song : Morning

Current 93 was very weird but I absolutely loved those : When The May Rain Comes - Rosy Star Tears From Heaven - A song for douglas after he is dead - Thunder perfect mind ( I must admit near the middle of the album it was becoming boring to me but then it went better to unexpected )

I knew the rest already, great advices thanks.

You may already be aware of these bands but I've been listening a lot and straight through the albums by Rings Of Saturn (album Dingir) and Dying Fetus (Reign Supreme).

It may be the first time I appreciate death metal, oh well it's technical death metal I think, the drums is very bad tho but maybe the genre wanted it like that. Sounds triggered.

I liked : Objective to harvest / Feast upon their bowels / Face imploding / Utopia ( like this one a lot, especially the end )

I have yet to listen to a death album that make me like the genre really.

call it deathcore, I'm gonna call it technical death metal with weird nuance. :p It really is apparented to death metal.

Imma get what you told me, if I could finally like death metal, I'd be happy.

Deathcore has breakdowns, Death metal doesn't.

have you tried melodic death metal like in flames / soilwork / scar symmetry / dark tranquility / fear factory (somewhat industrial, too) / amon amarth / insomnium / some hyposcrisy / etc?
