Anyone going to stand in front of their local record store on Saturday for RSD bright and early? If so what are you hoping to get your hands on?

Got the Sigur Ros, Uncle Tupelo Re releases, Taking Back Sunday, Common, Wilco Box Set, MC5/Afrika 7", Gene Clark 7", Compilation Eight Trails One Path, and plenty of goodie bag extras. Only disappointments were not finding the Nicolas Jaar Luv n' Haight, Straylight Run, or Bonnie Prince Billys....all of which were very limited pressings.

dude, ive gotten original press records from huge acts (Jackie Mittoo - Disco Jack, The Village Bunch - Diverse Doctrine, a pair of King Tubby records...i dunno) i mean, $20 = 130 records or something. even a lot of the dancehall ive gotten is quite nice, if youre into that kind of stuff.

I wouldnt be surprised if Ive gotten a few records for 15cents that ended up being with $30+

Plus, what's the worst case scenario? you end up with a pile of dancehall records. not necessarily an abundant resource in the united states...ive sold tons to a local record/book shop @40-50 cents each. (of course, they stopped taking them eventually lol)

Ok? I'm agreeing with that point - just saying as far as music I listen to, I may not take that kind of risk (tiny expenditure on potentially massive return i know) I prefer to do it with guitars :D

£161 for a guitar, can now sell it for £1150 :)
