The argument that one band > another or genre > over the next is utterly pointless, seeing how whether music is "good" or not is based entirely on opinions.

I highly disagree wether music is good or not is in many cases can not be based on opinions.

I can give you an example of what I mean, I am not a big fan of Jimi Hendrix yet I can recognise that he was a really fucking solid guitarr player because I listen to alot of Guitarrbased music.

I am a big fan of alot of rly weird swedish 70's progressive music, im talking 5 friends brought some instruments to the closest cottage and just mashed intstruments randomly while under the influence of various psychadlic substances.

Even though I prefer the psychadelic mess that is the swedish 70's prog over jimi hendrix I would never argue that most swedish 70's prog acts are better musicians than hendrix because clearly I dont like them because of their musical talent I like them because of their highly experimental sound.

What im talking a bout here is preference versus textbook good music, I do prefer X over Y but I recognise Y as better music.

"textbook good music"

...

What you consider textbook good music may not be the same in another person's mind. I know a kid that thinks anything "old" isn't good, lol.

I like music with real instruments in it.
