Artist: Our Lady Peace
Album: Happiness... Is Not a Fish That You Can Catch
Grade: A-

I would of given it a A if it wasn't for "Is Anybody Home?". This was their last good album and I even put it ahead of Clumsy.

I don't know if anyone would be able to rap over these beats or melodies, but it still makes for a great listen. A wonderful collection of sounds.

Ty Segall & Mikal Cronin - Reverse Shark Attack
''last fm''
Quote
San Francisco's Ty Segall of Epsilons, The Traditional Fools, and Sic Alps fame (as well as a budding and well-received solo career) has joined forces with Los Angeles' Charlie & The Moonhearts main man (and current bassist of the touring Ty Segall outfit) Mikal Cronin for a project that combines the overlapping musical aesthetic of both members. They cut a solid and short 7" together called "Pop Song" that shows garage-y, lo-fi, frat rock goodness. In December 2009, they released "Reverse Shark Attack" on Kill Shaman, an album unlike any others the two have done before.

Erm Well I really refuse grading or rating, i don't wanna force my opinion on you so i'll just explain what i like about the album or what it does to me.( I believe that by reviews that rate albums and critize them the reader often goes into a album with a colored opinion which is not fair)
Well it's in my opinion lo-fi garage rock at it best by 2 of the best guys in the scene.
Fast paced raw garage rock that walks the borders of pp and punk and does it without sounding wrong.
I think it's a easy listen if your used to lo-fi recordings.

Album -- Lonesome Crowded West
Rating -- B

This album was pretty awesome, the second Modest Mouse album I've heard. Some really catchy stuff, etc., give it a listen (although I assume most here have).
