sry i guess, but I hate how much dubstep is blown up now.
most of the producers make crappy music with no sense of structure, especially these dubstep remixes i've been hearing...
it's these new kids that claim they listen to good dubstep; that never herd of dnb or gave time to appreciate the genre. it just piss me off...
yea , how do you think many original fans and fans of roots dubstep feel ?
they gotta many of the haters who only see dubstep as a grinding rage fest and are usually convinced that dubstep only exhists as that. (but haters always gon hate so) and if your one from america, chances are the majority of dubstep events happening are events full of the more popular tear out mainstream sound and its harder to find fans of the genre not into that sound.
many of the new kids as you mentioned havent heard of dnb, havent even heard of garage/2step which is where dubstep is said to have generally evolved from.
but whatever, it hit the mainstream and a lot of watered down stuff is out there. doesnt mean theres not good things going on and good sounds being produced and pushed. last saturday i saw benzer0, joenice, and tunnidge in nyc (pic above with tunnidge). theres plenty of real shit going still happening.
