although I used not to like this heavier sludgy progressive metal like Mastodon and Intronaut, I've recently gotten into it so I'll post some of what I've been liking recently

I've heard that. It's been a while but I think I remember liking a lot of it but it seemed to have somewhat low quality mixing iirc
