Shpongle is my all-time favorite, with Hallucinogen trailing closely behind. I have the utmost respect for Simon Posford. He is hands down the most incredible producer I have ever heard in my life, and unfortunately, so far I have not found any others which can come too close to the way his work has touched me. Some of his friend gets close, Ott comes to mind, but nobody has that Posford touch like Simon does. This music is very close, and there are parts where I might mistake this for Shpongle. The biggest difference really, is that it's less densely packed than Shpongle sound-wise, and it's folkier. Though, Shpongle has some very folky moments.
It really stands out to me. Great stuff and really awesome sound design. I am convinced there is lots of MS-20 in their stuff, and I LOVE me some MS-20!
