The story line isn't definitive yet. They just recently announced that there even was a third one coming, even though they've been saying forever that they'd "like to" make a 3rd one, as if it wasn't one of the most demanded trilogies of all time. They say it's going to be for DS, but Nintendo has been fucking up hardcore for the past few years, so we'll see about that. Pretty much any series that moved on to Wii or DS turned into shit. Idk if you ever played Dragon Warrior : Monsters for GBC back in the day, but I bought the new DS one thinking it was going to be awesome and it was so fucking bad I can't even explain in words. They basically took out all the complexity and turned it into a game for 5 year olds
