Hey, thanks for the listen with the Gipsy Kings, actually liked that alot, and ofc iggy pop is pro smile.gif

The ryan adams song i really like, not sure why, the guitar that plays in it after a while is just awesome i think. not really technical or anything, just real cool sound.
Try this one, see how you like it by him, also a slow one though but a real unique style of the song

Judas Priest - Painkiller

I've strained my voice by trying to sing it the last couple days. I don't know how Halford can do it.

Eh... "hate" is too passionate of a word. I hate racism. I hate Dubya's administration and foreign policy. I hate goddamn Kenny G, and want to make him eat that soprano saxophone through his f?!kin' nose.

Hair bands, I'm mostly indifferent towards. The "teen years" of my musical education, as it were, was during the late '80s / early '90s, so I've had plenty of exposure to hair bands:
...and on and on and on. Granted, the first Metal album I ever purchased was Def Leppard's Hysteria (when I was... 12?... 13?...) but I quickly moved on to the Speed / Thrash end of Metal.

Well said..

Y'know, not usually my cuppa, but this is good. I daresay I like this cover more than the original. smile.gif

(Though, part of that could be due to not having to listen to Liam Gallagher's wailing.) wink.gif

Interesting. They have kind of a kitschy, low-fi, indie thing goin' on. Or at least, they do for the first half of the song. The latter half, not so in to, though I see how people would be in to it.

A lil' House for ya...

artist: JayDee
song: Plastic Dreams
genre: House

trivia: The segment of the song that's in this video is only about half of the entire song. The visuals in the video below are far less interesting, but it contains the entire song, from the slow, minimal build up in the beginning, to the busy, frantic pace at the end.

Heh, I always thought this cover was completely overrated, no matter what anyone says (along with Ryan Adams, for all I care).

I just pretty much really, really, really hate it.
