Eh... "hate" is too passionate of a word. I hate racism. I hate Dubya's administration and foreign policy. I hate goddamn Kenny G, and want to make him eat that soprano saxophone through his f?!kin' nose.

Hair bands, I'm mostly indifferent towards. The "teen years" of my musical education, as it were, was during the late '80s / early '90s, so I've had plenty of exposure to hair bands:

.38 Special
Bang Tango
Cinderella
Europe
Kix
L.A. Guns
Poison
Ratt
Whitesnake
the aforementioned Warrant

...and on and on and on. Granted, the first Metal album I ever purchased was Def Leppard's Hysteria (when I was... 12?... 13?...) but I quickly moved on to the Speed / Thrash end of Metal.

And, since we're talking about Speed / Thrash Metal...

Haha, nice! smile.gif Reminds me of:

artist: Gipsy Kings
song: Inspiration
genre: Flamenco Rumba

Of course, you can't mention Joe Strummer without mentioning...

artist: The Clash
song: Clash City Rockers
genre: Punk

Interesting. Given the usual audience here, that is. wink.gif

Something around there that I like (with a little more swagger) is:

artist: Iggy Pop
song: Night Clubbing

Oof. I couldn't get past :35 seconds in to the song. Waaay too mellow for me. mellow.gif

If I'm feelin' downtempo, I usually go with something like:

artist: John Coltrane
song: Alabama
genre: Jazz
